The assessment works best when you can record and submit your videos within the next 3 to 5 days. Most people finish in about 20 to 30 minutes. We're not looking for a polished performance, just an honest snapshot of where your playing is right now. So if you're just worried about performing your best, don't be. That's the whole point. But if timing is a real issue, we'd rather you come back when you can commit to it. Can you get it done in the next 3 to 5 days? *

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this really free?

Yes. 100% free. This is what we do for students when they first join our coaching program. We're opening it up because we want to show you what a real assessment looks like compared to the generic advice that you're used to getting online and even in person too.

How long is the Zoom call?

About 30 - 45 minutes. Enough time to go through your full assessment and show you exactly what's happening in your playing, and what we would do to fix it.

Do I need to be good for this to work?

No. This works at every level. The whole point is to find out where you are right now so we can identify what's actually holding you back and show you how we'd fast track your progress. Don't practice for weeks trying to look good. We want a real snapshot.

What do I need to record the assessment?

A drum kit (acoustic or electronic), a phone to record video, and a way to send the video. We'll give you all the instructions after you book.

If you have an electric kit you'll have 2 options.

1. Play the sound of your drums out an amp or speaker.

2. You'll need a small device called the "iRig2" so that you can record the audio directly into your phone without having to do any editing. If you have any questions about this, we can walk through it with you.

What happens after the assessment?

After the assessment you'll be clear on exactly what's holding you back from flowing freely on the drums without overthinking. We'll also, layout the exact game plan that we would customize for you based on where you are. At that point you'll have the option to work with us based on the plan we've created for you, or you can choose to try an figure it out on your own.
